As Disaster Fantasy, Northwest natives Ryann Donnelly (Schoolyard Heroes) and Byron Kalet (Journal of Popular Noise) pair hypnotic synthesizers with glossy pop vocals in an ecstatic celebration of dread.

Disaster Fantasy marks their new collaboration and a return to the Northwest. In 2020, Popular Noise Records released Donnelly’s solo EP, Roses. Drawing inspiration from disparate genres like New Age and vocal-driven Pop, the duo crafts glittery songs as a remedy for our collective anxieties and existential dread.
